After a two-year break, Tawa Rotary’s book fair is set to open on Saturday 5 October in the Tawa Scout Hall, Coronation Park, Oxford St.
Book fair coordinator, Pat Waite, said that it will be a welcome return after unforeseen circumstances have deprived the Tawa community of a supply of quality used books at low prices. The funds raised from the Book Fair allow Rotary to undertake community projects and assist local charities.
Pat would also like to thank people for their generous book donations over the past two weeks, which have significantly refreshed the stock on hand.
The book fair will run until Sunday 13 October with weekend hours 8am-5pm and week-day hours 10am-2pm.
