<Trulani and her mum>

On 10th April we had a Youth evening with Gaylene Lines presenting our Science and Technology student (Trulani van der Heyde) who talked about her experiences.  Trulani is currently a year 13 student at Tawa College and found the programme influenced her ideas for future university study.

<RYLA candicates Florence and Anna>

And also our two RYLA candidates (Florence Wellington and Anna Heyward) who gave us a presentation of their experiences on this programme.   Florence is currently studying at Massey University in zoology, and Anna is employed in brand marketing for "Buy NZ Made" - both being previous Tawa College students.

The Tawa College Head Girl and Head Boy were also in attendance.
