NZ Sign Language Teacher

Pam Lyons is a Resource Teacher working for Van Asch Education Centre in Wellington. She is currently studying for the Specialist  Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Endorsement. 

 

She will talk to us about the difficulties deaf children have, how they are assessed for hearing loss and the difference specialist teacher resourcing makes to the outcome for these children with severe hearing loss. She will also demonstrate sign language.
