AGM Conclusion
At our meeting of the 22 June we concluded the AGM for 2017-18; subs were set for the coming year, secretary position was confirmed, and an amendment agreed to the constitution that the IRD recommended in order for the Club to retain its RWC tax exemption.
We had as guests some International students visiting Wellington who Gaylene introduced.
Peter Lockery had on display some of the community Road cones that Tawa Rotary sponsored and Tawa Community Patrol is are going to manage for the community, and he thanked Rotary for their support.
Rotafest18 - A festival of Rotary
RotaFest18 conference was attended by Richard (and Margaret), Gaylene, Judith, Laura, Martin, Pat, and Tony (and apologies from Denise and Liz). Good to see a number of our own members actively involved in aspects of the conference. The programme details can be found here.
We were also introduced to the District Governor for the coming year, Marion Johnston, from Wanganui.
