Matters of Interest from Board Meeting 20 June 2023
- Board ratified a recommendation from the Grants Committee to approve a Grant of $750 to assist local Tawa College pupil Daniel van Straaten to attend a junior cricket world cup in Dubai later this year as a NZ representative.
- Bookfair Dates confirmed:
- Set-Up – Friday 22 September till Friday 29 September
- Book Fair Saturday 30 September Sunday 8 October
- Venue - Scout Den Coronation Park.
- Pride in Work awards evening planned for 17 October 2023
- Concert in the Park 18 February 2024
- Board accepted the resignation of Denise Garcia. Denise has been a very active member for 9 years, including a term as Club President. Denise may look to rejoin in 12 months’ time, depending on work and family pressures.
