Tawa Rotary celebrated the achievements of the past year under President Karyn Meade's great leadership, and welcomed the incoming president Joe Asghar.
Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 lockdown for the Delta variant that happened in August 2021, Tawa Rotary delivered numerous projects, provided sponsorship through community grants, key speaker events including partnership with the Tawa business community. Projects included the masks in schools campaign, Foster Hope, book bags for neonatal, the ball to fundraise for the Milkbank, Stuff the Trailer for Tawa Foodbank in partnership with Inner Wheel, and more.
