President Joe - Update
Kia ora fellow Rotarians

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the loss of Russell’s wife Julie who passed this week. My thoughts and prayers are with Russell and his family at this very sad time.

With this in mind, I would like to thank everyone who turned up for the SGM on Tuesday it was good to see such a high turnout and to have a full room hearing the exciting future plans for Tawa Rotary next year.

The meeting itself covered what you would expect in terms of confirmation of minutes, Presidents Elect, Office Bearers and budgets for 2023/24. Importantly there was an additional change to the Budget with and additional $2000 added to Marketing and Fundraising line to support future activities. This was approved by members present.  Also, there will be no change to the annual subscription that remains at $270 for the year.

This week’s raffle prize, donated by our friends at the Sprig and Fern was won by John Melville.

A reminder that there is no meeting Tuesday 30 May.
Sprig and Fern: Sunday 4 June – social event at 4pm
The next meeting is 6 June that is a Thank you function to all those who have worked with us to make the year the success that it has been. Please try and be there as Tawa Rotary is the host and we need to be able to mix and mingle to grow our success even more for the community!

I am away for a few weeks so will sign off for the time being!
Nga mihi nui
Joe

Action Plan

As People of Action, we understand that fulfilling that vision requires a plan.
More than a century ago, we pioneered a new model of service leadership grounded in person-to-person connections. Today, those connections are a network that spans the globe—bridging cultural, linguistic, generational, and geographic barriers—and shares the vision of a better world. As People of Action, we understand that fulfilling that vision requires a plan.
