Thank you to everyone who contributed and participated to the Party in the Plaza. It was great. And we had quite a few coming in for popcorn, Ice lollies and sausages. Many thanks to Judith for all her work here and to everyone who manned the stands. Great visibility for Rotary……..And for those that got to the Sprig and Fern for a drink – you deserved it!
A shorter update this week just focusing on your diaries before Christmas:
Tuesday 6 December:Dr Denis Delaney, GP Principle, Ngaio Medical Centre will be visiting and sharing with us his reflections on changes in General Practice. Denis is a well known and respected GP in Wellington contributing not only to patient care but to other community causes.
Saturday 10th December: Christmas Fellowship event: Time: 5.30 pm onwards, Venue: Elizabeth’s home, 26 Oxford Street, Tawa, Cost for dinner : $25 per person (Please credit our Club Bank account). BYO Drink RSVP by Tuesday 6th December to our usual apologies site tawa.rotaryapologies@gmail.com
Tuesday 13 December: we have Owen Maurirere, Area Manager - Prevention, for Kapiti Mana Police presenting on the year that was for Police in Wellington

Foster Hope
Summer Pyjama Drive has now commenced for Foster Hope.
There will be a drop off point at New World. Spread the word.
The District Conference will start on the evening of Friday 17 March 2023, and continue through Saturday 18th and Sunday 18th March at Southwards Car Museum.
