President Joe - Update
Kia ora all

I hope this update finds you well. Like many on ANZAC Day, I was blessed to spend time at a Veterans Service at Levin War Vets home. With some 200+ people, WWII veterans, NZ Defence Force (Airforce and Army), Counsellors, Local MP, and Staff it was a beautiful day to remember and reflect. The afternoon was spent mowing grass and restoring a rusty BBQ – kept me out of Judith’s way!

This last weekend thanks to all who helped with the Hanging Baskets working bee and for Richard Herbert who coordinated the activity.

This week on Tuesday 2 May, we are having an impromptu Polio Fundraiser at the English Dhaba Restaurant, 6 Collins Ave, Tawa. Meeting at 6pm for dinner. All proceeds to the cause, all welcome - bring partners, friends and whanau!

Don’t forget the Sprig and Fern next Sunday (7 May) for our monthly social catchup – bring a friend!

On Tuesday 9 May I have roped my son into delivering us a Rotary Olympics evening of fun and frivolity – along with fish and chips.
Keep well all.
Kia kaha
Joe

Action Plan

As People of Action, we understand that fulfilling that vision requires a plan.
More than a century ago, we pioneered a new model of service leadership grounded in person-to-person connections. Today, those connections are a network that spans the globe—bridging cultural, linguistic, generational, and geographic barriers—and shares the vision of a better world. As People of Action, we understand that fulfilling that vision requires a plan.
