Find out what our support for Life Education does for the wellbeing of our young people
Marsha Chiet - Educator, accompanied by Emma Scott, Chair of Life Education Trust North Wellington will be visiting Tawa Rotary.
Marsha is a dynamic and inspiring speaker – feedback on her talks with other service organisations has been very positive. This will be an opportunity to find out what the needs of the Tawa community are amongst the schools in the area and the North Wellington region. She will cover the topics explored and share the approach Life Education takes to equip our young people with the strategies, tools and knowledge to make positive choices.
“Today children and young people face a lot of challenges, including: obesity, substance use, mental health and well-being and bullying. The decisions we make as young people can dramatically affect how we live our lives in the future – and this is why Life Education exists. Through education we help students to understand how decisions they make today can affect their future health and well-being.” [Life Education Trust]
Tawa Rotary, as has Johnsonville and Plimmerton Rotary clubs, has for many years provided support to Life Education Trust North Wellington, such as fundraising through the Rotary bookfairs.
This talk identifies what our support does for the wellbeing of our young people.
