On Tuesday 2nd October, we have as speaker Krystal Crimmins. Krystal is a young woman of Karori who has had to learn how to cope with her own epilepsy. She found people in general had a lot of misinformation about what to do when someone has an epileptic episode so she has developed an easy book on Epilepsy First Aid to increase the public knowledge about what to do when someone is confronted by a child or adult having an epileptic episode. Epilepsy First Aid is all about creating awareness around the common seizure types and signs and symptoms along side the current first aid. Epilepsy is the most common Neurological condition and growing.
