Movie Outing - 5th June 2018
On 5th June we have made a booking at the Lighthouse Theatre, Pauatahanui, to see the movie The Bookshop. Stars: Emily Mortimer, Bill Nighy, and Patricia Clarkson.
Drama. Set in a small town in 1959 England, it is the story of a woman who decides, against polite but ruthless local opposition, to open a bookshop, a decision which becomes a political minefield.
Theatre Show - Breaking Up is Hard to Do - 10th August 2018
On the 10th August we have made a booking for "Breaking Up is Hard to Do", a musical featuring the songs of Neil Sedaka; directed by Sandy Brewer. Breaking Up is Hard to Do transports us to the Catskill Mountains in 1960s New York for a whirlwind romantic comedy jukebox musical. It tells an original story backed by popular songs, which will make you leave with a smile on your face and the songs stuck in your head.
Located at the Gryphon Theatre, Wellington, and performed by the Wellington Repertory Theatre group.
